Installed in Falun

My normal routines as I arrive in a new hotel is as follows.
The first thing I do is to check: “Where is the bible?” Hotels has a nasty habit to put this book in the rooms. What I do is to throw it out of my room for the cleaners to take care of it. Often the book is gone for the rest of my stay but it happens that I need to do the process all over again once the room has been cleaned.
(I find it strange that we in this day and age still have dusty old traditions like that)
The second thing is to turn on the TV and check the bathroom for a tub.

After that I normally return down to the reception and ask about internetconnection and the spa area.
In this hotel we have a 24 hour well equipped gym, a sauna and a nice, warm pool.
Spent one hour in the water yesterday. Maybe that is why I feel like a fish today.

The next Uri Geller

The Swedish television show “Fenomen” has been running for two weeks now and I find it very amusing. The show is the same that has been running in a number of countries already and it is based upon an idea that it should be a great thing to find Uri Geller an apprentice.

Anyhow. I don’t care to much about the outcome of that. I’m more interested in following the talk about Uri Geller on twitter and other social media. Here is a few of the comments I made:
– Look! My car key bent!

…or:
– If my TV wasn’t broken I could turn it on and Uri Geller could fix it.

…or:
– I wanted Uri Geller to fix this for me but something was blocking the energies.

Fillimpa (swe)

God limpa gjord på fil och andra goda grejjer:

5 dl vetemjöl
2 dl grahamsmjöl
3 dl rågsikt
2 1/2 dl rågkross
1 dl vetekl
1/2 vetegroddar
1 tsk salt
4 tsk bikarbonat
1 liter fil
2 dl mörk sirap

Blanda alla torra ingredienser mycket noga. Rör ner fil och sirap och blanda väl
Smöra och bröa två 1,5 litersformar.
Grädda på 175 grader med vanlig köttermometer. När termometern visar 98 grader är brödet klart.
